Advance Tickets for "Last to Fall from Hero Street" Now Available to Purchase

Advance Tickets for the premiere of  The Last to Fall from Hero Street: John Muños' Story,  Part 9 in Kelly and Tammy Rundle's Emmy-nominated  Hero Street  documentary film series, are now available to purchase at Putnam.org.  (just click on this link to purchase tickets) . Advance ticket purchases are encouraged, as these events tend to sell out. The film premieres on  Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.  on the  Putnam Museum's National Geographic Giant Screen Theater,  1717 W 12th Street in Davenport, Iowa. A Q&A with film participants will follow the screening. "A Bridge Too Far From Hero Street: William Sandoval's Story" screens Sept. 30 at Davenport Library--Fairmount Branch

The award-winning documentary “A Bridge Too Far From Hero Street: William Sandoval's Story" will screen on Tuesday evening, September 30th at the Davenport Public Library--Fairmount Branch , 3000 N. Fairmount St., Davenport. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Q&A with Emmy award-winning filmmakers Kelly and Tammy Rundle of Fourth Wall Films .  “A Bridge Too Far From Hero Street"  follows William Sandoval's journey from a boxcar in Silvis, Illinois to a battle in a forest in Holland. Born into an impoverished family of twelve, Willie performed migrant farm work alongside his parents and siblings until his father took a job with the Rock Island Railroad. The largest daytime air assault of World War II was Operation Market Garden, Sept. 17, 1944. William Sandoval was among them. Kelly and Tammy Rundle of Fourth Wall Films will present their Emmy® nominated “Hero Street” Documentary Film Series as an ENCORE celebration of the  100 th  Anniversary of the Silvis Public Library.   The Emmy® Award-winning filmmakers will screen  four parts  from their documentary series on  Saturday, September 27th, 1 p.m.-4 p.m .  at the McGehee Center, Schadt Park, 1043-4 th  Avenue, Silvis.  A Q&A with the Rundles will take place during the event.  Sponsored by Royal Neighbors Chapter 20167. Korean War Veterans share their stories for "Hero Street" documentary film series

Veteran Art Muños of the Mexican American Veterans Association (MAVA)  met Fourth Wall Films' Kelly and Tammy Rundle at the Ybarra-Gomez VFW Post 8890 in East Moline, Illinois on the afternoon of June 10th. He made arrangements for the filmmakers to meet two Korean War Veterans who were willing to do interviews for the Hero Street documentary film series, specifically the episodes focusing on the Korean War. Veterans Maurice Kitchen and Elroy Thomas sat before the 4K camera and remembered what it was like serving in Korea during the three year conflict. Both of them were proud to serve. Some memories were good. Some not so good. Their own experiences helped the Rundles understand what life must have been like for PFC Joseph Gomez and PFC John Muños, both from 2nd Street in Silvis, Illinois.
