Kelly and Tammy Rundle of Fourth Wall Films will present their Emmy® nominated “Hero Street” Documentary Film Series as an ENCORE celebration of the  100 th  Anniversary of the Silvis Public Library.   The Emmy® Award-winning filmmakers will screen  four parts  from their documentary series on  Saturday, September 27th, 1 p.m.-4 p.m .  at the McGehee Center, Schadt Park, 1043-4 th  Avenue, Silvis.  A Q&A with the Rundles will take place during the event.  Sponsored by Royal Neighbors Chapter 20167. DVD Pre-orders of "The Last to Fall from Hero Street: John  Muños ' Story,"  the latest film in the multi-part Hero Street Documentary Film Series by Fourth Wall Films, are  currently being manufactured and will  ship out by April 24th.   We apologize for the delay! Film festival submittals and PBS broadcasts ran us a bit behind with the DVD project.  We greatly appreciate your understanding and support! "The Last to Fall from Hero Street: John  Muños ' Story,"  tells the story of PFC John S. Muños who grew up in a boxcar home on 2nd Street (now named Hero Street) in Silvis, Illinois. He married his sweetheart, Mary Beserra, three months before he entered the Army on January 15, 1951. An ill-timed furlough allowed him to visit his wife and family one last time before deployment, but it also sealed his fate. He served in the Korean War with Co. Advance Tickets for the premiere of  The Last to Fall from Hero Street: John Muños' Story,  Part 9 in Kelly and Tammy Rundle's Emmy-nominated  Hero Street  documentary film series, are now available to purchase at Putnam.org.  (just click on this link to purchase tickets) . Advance ticket purchases are encouraged, as these events tend to sell out. The film premieres on  Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.  on the  Putnam Museum's National Geographic Giant Screen Theater,  1717 W 12th Street in Davenport, Iowa. A Q&A with film participants will follow the screening.
